Currently the world has little respect for Australia and its coal-mining - which in itself should make the politicians consider more carefully the best way to care for the People of Australia, including those in Winton and other places so ravaged by the Greed is Good Mantra. As a teenager I met the father of the pictured Mr Phillott of Winton - he was a well-respected and valued client of the Bank of NSW (Westpac) for whom I worked. It is almost incomprehensible to think the admirable history of this family has been devastated in this way. It is equally incomprehensible to think whilst this devastation was progressing, Westpac Bank was recording phenomenal profits. Dr David Pascoe has detailed much of what is wrong and now Australians everywhere must try to deliver their country from the ravages of greed. It requires TIME, INTELLIGENCE and THOUGHTFUL PLANNING and GREAT SPIRIT.......Cmon Aussies.......you can do it ;)
