Such a very good advice from a Relationship Expert.. for anyone who feels revenge is best way to go: If you are still searching for ways to get back at your ex... then they still have power over you. In essence, you are still engaged and involved. My thoughts: You cant *make* him understand his mistakes. If he was capable of understanding that (at this time in his life), he probably wouldnt be an ex. And... revenge can feel sweet at the time, but it ends up feeling bad later — because it usually goes against your core integrity and compassionate nature. My advice: Just let it go. You wont be able to get closure with someone who didnt care in the first place. Dont get me wrong. From what you have said hes a jerk. But there is nothing to be gained by revenge except wasted energy.
