Such good news today. Lucky Star has 16 new rescues. Lets celebrate by doing something happy! The Name Game... How did you come up with your cavaliers name? I ask this because this is Carlton, my newest foster. He was being fostered in KY but due to his foster Moms illness he was moved to me. I tried for 3 days to get him to come to me. Carlton, Carlton, Carlton....nothing. He did not respond to his name at all. I knew he could hear. So being the Outlander fan that I am I started thinking of other call names I could use even though his official name is Carlton. Ian, Jamie, Dougal, Frasier, Jamie etc. One morning I stood in my bathroom doing my hair with my 3 dogs in attendance but Carlton was no where to be seen so I called him. Nothing. I tried each of the names I thought of and finally said Jamie, come here Jamie. He came into the bathroom immediately. OK just a fluke right. Next time he was outside out of my view. I called Jamie and he came running. So Carlton is now Jamie and he responds to that name every time.
