Such strange feelings I have today. After starting school with all my friends since the fall of 1981, today I am staying home and spending time with a granddaughter while others are off to work. Ill be putting in 100 days this year, but no more teaching preparations or in-services or greetings to friends missed over the summer. I cant describe my feelings ... highs and lows.
