Sudan, Ethiopia, Eritrea to Deploy Joint Forces on Common Borders Posted By Sudan Media Center editors Babikir Al Amin Digna said in statement to (smc) 27 Apr 2014 Sudan has reached an agreement with Ethiopia and Eritrea to deploy joint police forces on common borders to counter human trafficking phenomenon. Minister of state for interior Babikir Al Amin Digna said in statement to (smc) there is existence of coordination between the mentioned three countries to deploy joint forces on common borders and counters human trafficking. The minister pointed out that UNHCR provides logistical support to Kassala and Gedarif states and sets installation of radar systems to siege smugglers. However Digna said Sudan opposes integration of refugees into Sudanese local communities. The minister reveals suspension of temporary resolution agreement for refugees’ in order to review its provisions with UNHCR in Geneva.
