Suddenly! Do you find yourself suddenly in the midst of a situation that you did not foresee, or has a pressing situation suddenly come upon you and you find yourself in a state of panic? Most of us have at one time or another. I have come to realize that God is never surprised by the “Suddenly’s” in our life. When He looks at your life, He sees the day you were conceived in your mother’s womb, all the way to the end of eternity and everything in between. You do not take a breath that your Heavenly Father is unaware of and nothing touches your life that can separate you from His love for you. There are many reasons for the sudden changes in your life. It may be the result of a choice. It may be the result of a wrong relationship or it may be because we simply live in a fallen world. Rest assured that no matter what the cause is God is aware of it and will give you the grace to endure, the power to persevere and the strength to overcome. He will take that suddenly and turn it into a victory. He will take the very thing the enemy may have used to bring destruction into your life and put in your hand to use against your enemy. No one heals like the hurting! Let me encourage you today by saying, if you find yourself in the midst a sudden change in life, fight to keep your focus on the one who is focused on you. Know that His thoughts toward you out-number the grains of sand. Just as suddenly as you were faced with adversity, deliverance and restoration shall come. Joseph went from the pit to the palace in a day! It is not a matter of if, but a matter of when it shall surly come to pass! “For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome,” (Jeremiah 29:11).
