Tonight, I felt horrible for the little boys who share the room under E, I felt sick for Es pain, and for finding it impossible to placate him this time, see, he rarely meltsdown. Yet, my heart soars with his desire and his belief that butterfly kisses might be the solution and to create the solution he sought. My butterfly kisses, to his nose, his forehead, his cheek, calmed him enough so he could lie still at my side. long enough that my sweet boy, though still upset, could find a peace and a calm to allow sleep to pull him beyond this desperation.
