Sue and I enjoyed an early departure to Adelaide Hills. Our 1st night went from Bordertown (too early) to Tailem Bend, which was scrapped when I had dirty fuel at Ararat (Caltex!!!) and we continued to Murray Bridge where a Honda dealer was. We rode the old Princes Hwy to Hahndorf and I loved it! But it isnt listed in Bears Atlas. We then rode to Birdwood and then did the Gorge Rd and the Corkscrew (noooo.... dont make me ride it again!). Steve Dolling, think Kirwans bridge except ashphalted. We returned by the Chain of Ponds to our onight stay at the Ace Cafe. Sunday was via the Whispering Wall (it works) and Jacobs Creek, to lunch at Maggie Beers Pheasant Farm, Tanunda, Barossa Valley; with good friends Cheryl, Jan and Monique. We then had a VERY windy ride to Berri where we stayed on the river. Monday was comfortable riding to Echuca where we caught up with Bob, Kathy, Henry, Marj, Ferri and Anne; for a comfortable night followed by poking around in prep for the NYEve ride while on the way home. Then to top it off, I had today off as well.
