Suffering From Post-PowWow Depression by Erika T. Wurth This year I let the lightbulbs go out one by one until there was darkness. Sometimes the light of the television would come alive and keep me company. Im not sure how many Indians live just like this. Erika T. Wurths novel, Crazyhorses Girlfriend, will be published by Curbside Splendor in September of 2014. Her collection of poetry, Indian Trains, was published by West End Press. Her work has appeared in numerous journals, including Boulevard, Fiction, Pembroke, Florida Review, Stand, Cimarron Review, The Cape Rock, Southern California Review and Drunken Boat. She teaches creative writing at Western Illinois University and shes been a guest writer at the Institute of American Indian Arts. Shes Apache/Chickasaw/Cherokee and was raised outside of Denver.
