No matter how old you are, waiting for mama milk is not something you should ever have to endure. If a boob isnt in your mouth before your initial request is complete, ask again, louder and more insistent. Again if that doesnt work, always escalating. Crying, signing, accessing, sucking on whatever is available, falling on the floor (totally legit that you cant stay upright anymore if youre not getting the boob right away), diving into moms top, do. what. it. takes. Be relentless in your quest for the boob because, if experience has taught me anything, yes, the entire world will end if you dont get it when you need it.
