The program was well planned and covered the issues disturbing the veterans and good suggestions were made. Congratulations for compering a very good show. I have one suggestion you have put a banner in back ground saying OROP GRANTED TO VETERANS. I have some objection about this. Yes OROP has been sanctioned by UPA Govt on 17 Feb 14 and they allotted Rs 500/ crore for it. NDA Govt confirmed the same and allotted further sum of Rs 1000/ crore. But Surprisingly five months have passed but implementation order for OROP have still not been issued. IESM delegation met Finance Minister Sh Arun Jaitley to impress upon him the delay in issuance of OROP implementation order. He did not commit any time frame for issuance of implementation order and told the delegation to reduce our demand. This is very surprising and has taken veterans by surprise and they have been forced to think whether announcement of OROP for veterans was a big joke.
