Suggestions: Brutus will be about 5 y/o in June. He knows I am the Alpha male. Right now I am using him as an emotional support dog. Almost every day for the last 6 months we go for a ride in the truck or walk a few blocks to the store. Every time I leash him in my apt he walks down the stairs to the outer door he is good until the last few steps and If I had a dollar for every time he almost made me fall as a result. Then we get outside, we have a lot of feral cats on this street and he has a strong prey drive. You can probably figure out how that goes. In the back yard he listens to my commands and I can get him to walk beside me unleashed. When we walked to the store instead of hooking the leash to his harness I hooked up to his collar which helps some but not much. I really dont want to go with a pinch collar, any suggestions?
