Suggestions for Writers - Time Im going to write a longer entry on this topic, but heres a short suggestion: Write daily, whenever you can. Sometimes we dont write because we dont have hours at a time in order to sit in front of a computer. My advice is not to wait until you have hours in which to write. Write daily whenever you can. So for example, when youre waiting for an appointment or public transit, jot a few ideas down on a piece of paper. If you imagine dialogue in your head, type them out on the notepad App on your phone or iPad. Have a great idea for a scene or a chapter? Sketch it on a cocktail napkin while waiting for your drink. (NB: Please dont sketch on linen napkins. Restaurants tend to be a bit annoyed at that kind of thing) Use the time you have to write rather than waiting until you have hours and hours.
