Suggestions from bar-owner/people who have worked in pubs - just had two pints of strongbow from draught and they tasted fecking awful, Ive been drinking strongbow a long time every day, I know what its supposed to taste like, this tasted like it had chlorine in it or something so took them both back to the bar, barman swears the lines were done this morning, he pours me a fresh one which tastes worse, he tries a bit and says it tastes fine :-/ I insist on something different, so he pulls two pints of gaymers instead, which also taste slightly odd, but I accept them begrudgingly. Barman says Ill go check the cooler hasnt tripped out, it is a 9 yard pull on these taps. Can someone who knows about bar stuff explain what this means and what I should have done? I know my ciders, I know when something is wrong.
