Suggestions on how to make our onboarding UI more harder, better, faster, stronger? Were changing the look of the current on the app store bit.ly/1ri8GjO - but could also really use flow and function suggestions! Some Background: Were in a pretty controversial space, politically, as previous iterations on this concept launched with predatory, rather than symbiotically-geared models. We aim to be a bottom up marketplace - and prove that individuals can, when truly enabled, scalabley solve their own and their communities problems. Thanks! The concept began, not only with an observance of the ridiculous stagnation in parking, but also some studies released by Donald Shoup and some local experimentation - proving our theory that by creating a collaborative marketplace here, we could - and have where implemented - reduced traffic and with it CO2 emissions by 30%. So broadcasting and sharing the information was only half of the problem - awareness of supply - there was also the problem of the availability and vibrant use of the existing infrastructure. One of the coolest things we found when exploring different solutions here, was that this one in particular, the collaborative information sharing community swap, actually increases the amount of available spots. Not literally, of course, we’re not breaking the laws of physics, but when people start sharing their parking secrets and making it a possibility to let others know when you’re leaving - and getting people with symbiotic schedules and needs to partner up, people start moving. There’s no more uncertainty or anxiety about losing some golden spot, and people really, really enjoy kind of making someone’s day by being that perfect partner just then - where everyone involved is better off. They move around, patronize new parts of the community, and ultimately find and make more space known and available to and for us all. Were also building in tools to help spread awareness to people in certain areas of local business as the other side of the coin for making spots in places that cant afford (or want) huge lots - like a Target or Cracker Barrel or Whole Foods even(for example) can. Okay - feedback me plz.
