Suggestions seriously requested . . . I dont do Halloween. I have never done Halloween. Although my children were allowed to pick costumes and trick or treat, they consider my lack of enthusiasm for the event one of my significant failures as a mother. I was raised in foreign countries. Primarily in the East. No child would ever consider going to a door to request candy from an elder. When I came to the states and saw this done - I was appalled. So, my boss calls me in and tells me each year a big competition is held among the groups of staff - for Halloween. Im in her group. Her group has decided everyone will come as dead movie stars. I am to come as a dead Elizabeth Taylor. Can someone(s) advise me just how Im supposed to pull this off. I havent the faintest idea re clothes, hair - am I supposed to go out and buy a wig and do Cleopatra eyes? What do I wear? Aargh - she wouldnt listen to me when I tried to beg off and tell her I dont do Halloween. This will be the first time in my life Ive ever had to put together a costume. HELP!
