Suicidal Tendencies by Nikki D. Our words kill your character and then we act shocked when you do the ultimate deed. Killing our brothers nothing new some say it’s the serpents seed. Suicidal tendencies been around since Cain and Abel. Every issue in life doesn’t come with a moral lesson this is not a fable. We tell people life always has something to stay for. Hope they silently understand don’t bring your issues to my front door. 24/7 everyone’s connected but so many lonely people in a crowded room. We so blinded by the shiny things we fail to see death and its plan of doom. People are hurting but we are to busy to take a moment to see. More than one way to exit this world every death doesn’t end at the lynching tree. Sometimes what is destroying us is closer that we want to honestly admit. How many suicides are you willing to prevent? Suicide is not a part of God’s perfect plans. Building mega-churches less soul winning instead of creating leaders for tomorrow some preachers just performing for their fans. From men of God to celebrities makes it harder to know. Which ones are called by God and which ones just showing up for the show. Success doesn’t mean you are right or wrong. It’s just easier for folks to follow you into hell as long as your money long. Can’t go to the church so much drama there. Can’t call your mama even if you think she would truly care. We shame people who admit they have had that thought or two. Instead of healing them with the Word we just analyze or medicate them like its just a flu. Folks scared to ask for help because they don’t want to be judged. Everyone wants to be considered perfect don’t want that record smudged. I wish I had the answer to the questions you will never ask. I wish my love was enough to prevent you for fulfilling this awful task. I’m sad that people who hunger for knowledge are being taught God doesn’t exist truthfully I rather you had of just went to college. So many people wish they could be with their loved ones today. Please don’t let life’s problem make you decide you don’t want to stay. I don’t know what’s hurting you and its not necessary to testify. God still has you on earth and I know He must have a reason why. Suicide may seem the end for you but for your loved ones it is just the beginning. When you leave like that some people believe you left the earth sinning. It’s the beginning of questions you can never answer. Sometimes its harder to come to terms with sometimes easier when death is connected to something drastic like cancer. I don’t think the pain of not knowing why they were not enough to stay ever goes away. Whatever demons you are wrestling with it’s up to you to open your mouth and say.
