Suicide - a word we hate to hear and yet here I am talking about it all the time! It is part of what I do to shed some light on how horrible this tragedy is and how 90% of all suicides can be prevented with the proper treatment. This mission began when I lost my step-daughter Amber in 2008 and it is now our life to bring hope to those left behind, erase stigmas, raise awareness. Our ministry, Messages For Hope, is having another Walk for Suicide Prevention in Charleston and Huntington WV within the next month to raise much needed funds to continue our work, and to raise awareness about mental health wellness, and suicide prevention.
