Suicide prevention and intervention among military, veterans, USCG - TopicsExpress

Suicide prevention and intervention among military, veterans, USCG Auxiliary, and their families is one of my causes. As a member of the Fort Meade, MD, Army Volunteer Corps, I teach LivingWorks ASIST (suicide intervention) class and help develop new instructors. In the U.S. Army, for several years, more service members die from suicide than the number of combat deaths. We must stop this. We must show we care. I challenge you all to reach out to all you know from all walks of life and of all ages and make sure you let them know they are valued and you care. We must end this epidemic of suicide in our world!
