Sukumar Azhicode Trust Public Lectures 2014 on Modern Thinkers by Rev. Fr. (Dr.) K M. George at DC Books Auditorium, Kottayam. Today’s Lecture is on Francis Fukuyama’s perspectives on economy and culture. Fukuayama is Olivier Nomellini Senior Fellow at the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies (FSI), resident in FSIs Center on Democracy, Development, and the Rule of Law. He is professor of political science. On Saturday, 29 November the Lecture is on “Wassily Kandinsky’ Spiritualism of Art.” Kandinsky is Russian-born painter who is credited as a leader in avant-garde art as one of the founders of pure abstraction in painting in the early 20th century.
