Summary of Testimony: Pastor, has shared his wonderful testimony. Pastor V. Joy, was born to a semi-Pentecostal parents (Father was a Pentecostal believer and mother was from non-Pentecostal family) in Kerala. When pastor was born, he became very sick on the eighth day, and seeing the situation his mother lost her hope and desperately prayed to GOD, and GOD talked to her through vision, saying the child will not die, but will live, these words Pastors Mother believed, and committed him to the will of GOD, and surrendered to GODs ministry, and said if the child lives, he will be a minister unto GOD for a lifetime, miraculously GOD healed him next day. As the family lived in the hilly area of Kerala, the Pastors father decided to keep him in boarding school in Tamilnadu, giving instructions that, read Bible morning and evening, stay away from bad characters, and pray morning and evening, do not miss even a single Sunday meeting. After his early education, GOD has plucked away all chances of higher education for Pas. Joy. Meanwhile Pas. Joy, moved to Chembur, Bombay in 1971, where Pas. T. U. Thomas was ministering there. One day Pastor, T. U. Thomas visited Pas. Joys room, and seeing he is meditating the word of GOD, Pas. T.U., said I got a servant of GOD today. Later, Pas. T.U., invited him to stay with him, in faith home. Pas. Joy testified that Pas. T.U., had taken him through a preparatory experience for the great ministry, and Pas. Joy was very much involved in the Sunday school ministry, youth prayers, etc., while all the young people were staying together and praying, one them prophesied that Pas. Joy is having a call for ministry. One day, Pas. T. U., asked the congregation that, people who had not received holy spirit to lift up their hands, only Pas. Joys hand was raised, and he felt a lot of shy and that same moment he made a commitment that, GOD unless you give me the HOLY SPIRIT anointing I will not visit the faith home, and he was praying for the anointing by keeping fasting and even wanted to fast unto death, and said YOU are responsible for death if I die. Even though GOD has not answered yet, on the third day, and a young friend of his came and prophesied that My son, you are being chosen for ministry and the anointing which I am giving to you is a double fold anointing, and that night GOD anointed him at 11oclock and until the morning he was speaking in tongues, and neighbors got astonished thinking what happened to him. As the days gone by, in the year 1973, Pas. Joy had a wish in his mind to serve GOD, but felt that he was not strong enough to serve GOD. In those days, all he youths in Bombay, wanted to go to the gulf, so all except Pas. Joy had were posted in the gulf. One day Pas. Joy has seen a beautiful vision in which late Chief Pastor, Pas. Freddy Paul came in the vision and he was wandering in the faith home, and all the youngsters were following him, after half an hour he started to depart, and someone told Pas. Joy, to get prayed with him, as he is saint of GOD, so he ran and knelt before him, Pas. Freddy looked at him, said that, I came for you and laid both of his hands upon him and prayed, by which it was confirmed that GOD is calling him to ministry. The confirmation of call was given by prophecy of Pas. TU, vision of his father and also his mother. Pas. Joy also confirmed his call and joined ministry in the year 1980 from the Chembur center of Bombay, along with ten others. While was about to enter the vehicle, center Mother came running to him, saying, Even the heavens come down or whatever happen, your body should go out of TPM as a servant of GOD, this moved the Pastor, and that day he determined the same. Pas. Joy, testified that two words define his journey in the ministry, first one is grace and the second is the mercy of GOD. Pas. V. Joy had served in different parts of north India, like Delhi, Calcutta, Haryana........ Pas. Joy, has expressed his desire to continue in the ministry unto death, and pray for his ministry. He is ministering GOD, from the past 34 years. Even I am happy that GOD gave some good time, talking, listening, and being led by him, for a couple of years, while he was ministering in Delhi as Assistant Center Pastor. Wonderful testimony of a precious saint of GOD. Let us all uphold Pas. Joy, in our prayers, that GOD may enable him, guide him, guard him, bless him with good health, long life, and be faithful to GOD and serve HIM, until the coming of our LORD JESUS CHIRST.
