Summer Dress! With summer fast approaching, please remember that modesty and dignity in apparel benefits our common worship of God. We want to avoid a careless attitude to Sunday Mass out of respect for the great gifts we receive here. In particular, those engaged in our ministries should set a good example for the entire congregation. “Sunday best” doesn’t have to mean uncomfortable, but it should reflect how important this encounter with our Lord in the Eucharist is to us. We don’t wear dressy clothes to the beach and we shouldn’t wear beach clothes to Mass. Everything has its proper time and place. Thank you!
