Summer Internship in Canada – Research – MITACS Globalink A splendid opportunity for all the undergraduates to pursue a fully funded research internship under supervision of a world class researcher at a Canadian University. About the internship: - Mitacs Globalink introduces Canada as a world-leading research and innovation destination to top undergraduate students from around the world. The successful candidates are able to take part in a limited number of research internships at universities across Canada during the summer. Student applicants should have an interest in gaining international experiences, and a desire to explore the option of a career in research. Who can apply: – Students can apply to the program if they have an 8/10 GPA and will be starting their final year of their undergraduate studies in 2013. This means should be in their 3rd year of a 4 year program, or their 4th year of a 5 year program. Location: – Canada Duration: – 12 weeks Stipend: – For this year, it not mentioned in the official post. (Last year the stipend was- $200/week. The cost of airfare up to $1500 and visa expenses up to $165 are refunded when the students reaches Canada. Mitacs also books and pays for the intern’s accommodation.
