It’s an 8am start, Stableford format with Full handicap and includes a relaxed BBQ half way round and free drink courtesy of Micky Magners, plus a top-up of food after your round. There are prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions plus Nearest the Pin on all Par 3s and Nearest the Pin in 2 on the 13th. All aspects of Martins game were functioning very well on a course that demanded accuracy and good decision making. Did you know that Martin is the first player in history to shoot 65 or better in the first 2 rounds of any major. Thats incredible.
