Summer has always been my very favourite season, sunshine, warmth, riding, bbqs, swimming, hiking, events galore. Today the season Autumn / Fall is in close competition. Raking leaves here this afternoon the heat from the sun rays was warming my bones and a whimsical said....go for a ride! Geared up and off I went not knowing how far I would go! I rode the old highway to Courtenay and the colours were just gorgeous! The smells of open fires, the ocean, coffee brewing as I past the greatest little coffee shop, people taking pictures of the leaves falling, those wonderful colours changing. I choose the upper highway (the slab as we call it) to come home and couldnt get home fast enough....... 130 kms. all the way..... brrrrrrr! Was a great day! Might put her to bed for winter!
