Summer speeds up after 4th of July. As a teacher, Ive gotten conference reminders, tons of back to school ideas , classroom procedures,and event calendars for the upcoming year....all on July 5 & 6th. I am still in Summer mode....or so I thought. My mind was wandering back to resource and ideas for the upcoming year. What I wished for during this daydream was an Education resource center. I would LOVE to see this type of business in Chicago Heights. How about at the end of the plaza where Ace Hardware was. Turn a negative into a positive. Its a great location. Chicago hts has a huge school district. As does our surrounding communities. As a Chgo Hts, resident, the closest resource I have is Orland or Indiana. This business would have resource galore, free development workshops for educators, fun free educational classes for children....my dream list goes on......is this just a dream. I hope not. Ok....back to Summer!! Ha!
