Summit Peak....Porcupine mts. We really were looking forward to doing this short half mile hike, roflmao, half mile, what they dont say is it is straight up and about the time you think you are gonna die, they put a million stairs and boardwalks to finish you off. On the plus side, they were thoughtful enough to put plenty of benches and stairs to sit on. The sun was out and gorgeous when we did overlook falls but the clouds rolled in. we knew we would not get to see much as we were told by fellow hikers that it was a wasted trip for them. we decided to push on cause that was what we came for.... and tho we could not see much, it truly was a memorable hike. I suggest a lightweight walking stick for assistance if you have hip or back problems. I found a stick on the way down and it was much easier.
