Sun Jan 18, 2015 prompt: assemblage, art installation, collage, symbolic arrangement of things (This naturally happened to honor the wonder of Alexis Rotellas amazing art and collage boxes. They became part of our living room...an installation with a drama all its own. It looks like a living being! So beautiful. I think it will keep changing as we use things... the top two images are by her. The one in the center top, very subtle pale blue, is a piece we bought on a visit to an art gallery in Teehran, by a local artist there. The little red fish is by our dear friend Kris Kondo and is full of her tiny painted stones. Think of the ways you arrange things in your home garden artworks, nest... your toys, your tools and let them be mirrored in your tanka.)
