Sundargarh-Rourkela – Political leadership fails to protect Tribal identity Dear All, Greetings. We have seen the performance of five MPs and all the MLAs falling in these constituencies. Out of Koraput, Bolangir, Kalhandi (KBK), Bargarh and Sambalpur constituencies, we have received a good feed back from Kalahandi and Bolangir. In rest of the areas, the response of the readers was not satisfactory. Hence, we will revisit in all those areas where we will feel that a proper analysis of that area is further required. Our next MP constituency is Sundargarh and all the seven MLAs falling in this area. Following is the list of MP and MLAs - areawise and name. Sundargardh MP Hemananda Biswal MLAs Rourkela : Sarada Prasad Nayak Rajgangpur : Gregory Minz Sundargarh : Jogesh Kumar Singh Talsara : Dr. Prafulla Majhi Biramitrapur George Tirkey Raghunathpali: Subrat Tarai Bonai: Bhimsen Choudhury This is the tribal dominated area. The major problem in this area is the land displacement due to industrialization. The youth is not getting a proper employment in the industries. And, the pollution is rampant due to the industrialization. The migration is again a major problem in this area. The tribal girls are trafficked to metros from this area. The tribal identify itself is at stake due to the influx of the non-tribals. Please provide information, your feed back and comments on the performance of the political leadership of this area.
