Sunday 10:15 am update I havent updated for a little while, simply because there hasnt been a lot to update. Kristinas doctor was in this morning and ordered a CT scan for in the morning. The last scan showed exactly what he wanted to see and he wants to do one more just to confirm no change. We have started the process to move her closer to home. This is a big step. The Dr. sees no issue with transportation, but that long of a ride makes me nervous. We just have to trust The Lord to deliver her safely. I toured the facility Wednesday and took a good friend of Kristina and Is along who is much more medically knowledgable than I, and we both found a lot of strong points about the place that we really liked. On top of that, the ICU doctor here actually used to work at an Evansville hospital and dealt with the facility on a regular basis and had nothing but great things to say about them. So that makes me a little more comfortable with the transition. She has a long road ahead of her, but she was wide awake and responsive this morning and we had a nice long talk about it. She understands that its not going to be easy and she promises to push as hard as she can to get better. I have a lot of faith in her, and in God, and Im sure we will see a positive outcome.
