Sunday, 11 January 2015 facebook/EnjoyGodIncorporated PERSISTENT PROTOCOL Luke 11:8 ISV I tell you, even though that man doesn’t want to get up and give him anything because he is his friend, he will get up and give him whatever he needs because of his persistence. Jesus Christ was speaking about someone who needed an urgent assistance from his friend at an ungodly hour. This man was outrightly refused even though he was a friend, but note what happened: even though friendship protocol couldnt grant him his desire, persistent protocol did! Sometimes believers think the fact that you are a Christian guarantees your answered prayers. The one who persists not only in need is the one who gets his prayers answered. Because of your persistent service to God amidst failures and rejects, the Lord will give ear to your requests. Because you didnt give up on God when He lingered on granting your request, He will attend to you, just hold on a little longer. “So I say to you: Keep asking, and it will be given you. Keep searching, and you will find. Keep knocking, and the door will be opened for you, (vs 9) Learn to be an aggressive and persistent worshipper who is not limited by rejects and failure. NB: Persistence in service and prayer can pull the Hand of God into your situation.
