Sunday 15th September 2013 the PNM opened their South Regional Office, on Navet Road, San Fernando. Now an office is where you go to conduct orderly business, in an organized manner, with clearly defined rules and procedures, aimed at achieving some strategic goals and objectives. Now the UNC has their Headquarters just down the road in Couva. Back in the day when Manning and Mahal leave Sando to walk to town, when they reach Couva, they ent break ah sweat yet. A……A….so up comes the UNC and them decide to open something in Sando too. Well let them tell you what they call the place It was an incredible occasion to wear something yellow as many people filled the streets of San Fernando as the Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar cut the ribbon to open the UNC South Command Centre. Command Center? Command Center? Command Center? You know, is two occasions people does use to open a “command center” – WAR and DISASTER.
