Sunday 3rd Nov, KMK Kaumaakonga had a picnic at Eden Bay, west Honiara to officially close their Vanuatu 2013 tour. Immediate and extended family members turned up to share food, swim and hear stories about the tour and performances. Belinda surprised everyone flying in from Vila, straight to Eden bay and joined in the picnic. Willie sent greetings from Auckland. Many people to thank for such a wonderful tour. SMK camp director Mrs Deli Nalo, camp chefs and volunteers, camp music directors-Tio, Herman and Marcel, the many local musicians, Canal Studio Chairman Dave Nalo and sound man Takau Jacob, Chief Jeffery Suli, Fest Lukaotem gud Santo organisers, Fest Napuan organisers, Chief Poilapa IV of Mele Village, various international artists we collaborated with, Simangavole, Crossroad Mozambique, Freddie, Aireleke, Ofa, Carlo, Vili, Natalie, Petra, Jimmy the man Ratusila, Anthony the dancer and Anthony the camera/ ukulele man, and of course our Vanuatu and Solomon Islands fans and supporters.
