Sunday 8/24 10 am - Greg is doing much better. Dr. in this morning and are talking of possibly removing the trachea on Monday. All depends on his breathing all day and thru the night. The trachea has a plug in it right now. They need to watch oxygen levels. For food, they disconnected the bag from feeding tube. We are now going to inject protein (ensure) from syringe into tube, 3 times a day. Arm and thigh healing well. Was told maybe Tuesday as a go home date.
