Sunday 9th June ( Week 23 ) : 19.5 kilograms – year total 3092 kilos . A straight forward walk down Wallace street and back up Dragon street using Bracker road and Wood street to join them . 136.75 kilograms for the week makes this the 11th week in a row that I’ve exceeded my goal for 6 tonnes . The largest piece of rubbish I picked up this morning was a translucent , corrugated fiberglass sheet , the kind used for cheap sky-lights in sheds . Luckily it was easy to cut up into shorter lengths for transport . It fitted the extended rear-vision mirrors to the Wannabe Bike yesterday afternoon and will be very interested to see how they handle what passes for highway speed on the bike ( maximum 80 kph downhill with a tail wind ) . Very excited at the prospect of seeing how they go so roll on next week .
