Sunday April 6 • 15:00 - 16:45 • Being Allies in Imperfect Solidarity: From a trying-to-be- decolonizing and anti oppression framework • The Dogwood Centre (706 Clark Dr., Vancouver, BC) • No Pipelines!: Action Training for Climate Justice. In this workshop well look at the intersections of power and how we can attempt to be act as allies for each other across the chasms of privilege and power that divide us. Well look at strategies for being fluid and imperfect allies, a gift from queer theory. Also how we might respond to the ally fail and make repair and lean in to each other in ways that maintain connections when its hard.
