Sunday, August 3rd, TJ Knollenberg update. It has been a busy day for TJ. More PT and Speech Therapy and he finally gets to have food...pureed, but its real food!! He enjoyed peaches, strawberry yogurt, applesauce, apple juice and some other goodies. He wasnt too crazy about the pureed corn and green beans...lol. He stood up for just a brief moment (with help, of course) to go from the bed to the chair and stayed in the chair for over two hours again. Other medical things that showed progress that we were very happy about. He had lots of visitors this weekend, some were great surprises and we enjoyed each and everyone of them. TJ enjoys having me read all your responses to his updates and is encouraged by them. Its hard to believe we are going into week three. My weekend was less successful, had to have two tires repaired that were almost flat and locked myself out of my car today. Forty-five minutes later security had me back in my car and I was able to come home for an hour for lunch and to take care of the dogs before heading back....no nap though.
