Sunday August 4 2013 Tarot Card of the Day: Judgment: This Major Arcana Card #20 is associated with the Hebrew letter "Shin" meaning "Tooth." The deeper meaning is the different types of fire that break down elements into their most pure and basic form. The Angel represents Solar Fire (the son), granting resurrection of body and soul to the human figures below that represent Celestial Fire, Terrestrial Fire, and Latent Heat (chain reaction = breaking bread & sharing wine). The letter "Shin" presents with only 3 of these flames. The Hidden and 4th flame is found on the "Tefillin" that represents the immortal soul found inside the indestructible Luz bone. This image of the Tefillin when opened up and exposed is the familiar icon of Jesus Christ (immortal soul) upon the Cross (unfolded cube). What does all this mean? Simply that the only path to immortality is by sharing. We all must walk together down this path for separation is a function of ego and thus death. Sharing our lives with others and resisting the ego brings light, life, and immortality to all. We must resist receiving not giving to enable the light just as in a light bulb.
