Sunday I ran from lorimer park to the bryn Athyn post office along the new trail. just doesnt have the same charm as when the giant prickers tried to tare the clothing from your boudy, and the poison ivy ground its poison into your shredded skin do to those same said prickers, mixed with the scrambling through dead trees and cutting brambles. Each step you prayed that the next dead body you stepped on wasnt human. Truthfully, its really nice, and it isnt even done yet. Its funny, the section that runs from the pike to welsh road always seemed to be a miles long. But with it now so wide and clear you can see the other end, I now realize its only about 200yards, and with out the railroad ties making me have to run funny (or all the for-mentioned overgrowth, sink-holes and knife-sharp jagged metal trash) I was through that section in what seemed like seconds. I wish it went up into bucks county, but I will take what I can get.
