Sunday, January 11: Today we just tried to recuperate from the County Show. We went to church and the guys watched football while I took a short nap. We worked on scholarship applications for Pierce and Dane worked on his new goal. It’s to rope LEFT handed. What’s funny about this is not that it was the arm that was paralyzed, but that he could never rope with it before the accident. So today I hear the continual sound of the rope slapping the side of the roping dummy on the back porch. Relentless he is……. And so this boy with absolute determination, roped with his LEFT hand today. He caught several times. So my prayer continues and God continues to hear – “better than he was before”. He amazes me. God’s provision amazes me. ““The former things I declared of old; they went out from my mouth, and I announced them; then suddenly I did them, and they came to pass.” Isaiah 48:3 “Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:19 So pray with boldness – with audacity – believe on the Lord Jesus. Glory to God….Sunday’s coming…….
