Sunday, January 18: We started our day with church at the Stock show hosted by a Cowboy Church from Cleburne. We were blessed to have the opportunity to worship while at the stock show grounds. We were also blessed with a visit from one of our therapy team members, Kayla – our speech therapist. Dane was so happy to see her and we are thankful for the opportunity to continue to have a relationship with her. She was proud of how well Dane is doing and is such an encourager. We returned to the barn and Pierce started to help get heifers ready while Dane rested in his official stock show chair – his reclining lawn chair. We were thankful to get to meet some of the amazing people who make the stock show run, Cal White. He came by to meet Dane. We are so thankful have met this great man! Dane spent the rest of the afternoon roping a little, walking his heifer and then helping to keep the stalls tidy. So we fed him steak for dinner and played a few rounds of Catch Phrase. Today has been a day where we have been blessed with love by so many others. Blessed just to be here. It is a victory. I am so humbled just to be a part. God is surely glorified. “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:34-35 Glory to God……Sunday’s coming…..
