Sunday, July 28, 5:00pm South Congregational Church, 45 Maple Street, Springfield Suggested Donation $10 Haydenville Church member Rev. Susannah Crolius, who pastors a church in Springfield invites any and all from Haydenville to come THIS SUNDAY to an African feast of 13 authentic Ethiopian dishes to SUPPORT OUR “FEED MY SHEEP” REFUGEE CAMPAIGN! “Feed My Sheep” is a campaign of South Congregational Church to raise $60,000 to feed 156 Ethiopian refugee families—most of whom are between the ages of 13 and 30— who are living in a refugee camp on the Kenya-Somalia border after fleeing violence, torture and the threat of death in their homeland. They are unable to register for international assistance and have no access to food, plastic sheeting for shelter, cooking pots or utensils, access to medical help or the ability to apply for resettlement at this time. These 156 people are friends, neighbors and church members of a dear family in our congregation who fled for their own lives from the same area a few years ago and were resettled in Springfield in 2010. For more information or to make a donation, contact Rev. Susannah Crolius, 413-348-2385, scrolius@gmail. You will find a video on their situation on our on-line fundraising site at gofundme/3hth2k.
