Sunday June 2, 2013 - Wife of f or m er Prime Minist er Raila Odinga, Mama Ida Odinga, was on Friday barred from accessing the VIP lounge at the Jomo Kenyatta Int er national Airp or t (JKIA) on h er trip outside the country. Acc or ding to our moles at JKIA, Mama Ida who was accomp an ied by bounc er s from Ronalo Restaur an t in Nairobi tried to access the VIP lounge but she met stiff resist an ce from the Kenya Airp or t Auth or ity (KAA) guards who wer e guarding the lounge. The security told h er she no long er enjoys the VIP accreditation an d she was not auth or ised to ent er the lounge. But accor ding to Mama Ida Odinga,the or d er s came from Head of Public S er vice an d Secretary to the Cabinet Fr an cis Kimemia. Mama Ida condemned the act an d said since she is a devoted Christi an , she leaves an ything to GOD.
