Sunday, March 09, 2014 PRAYER STIRS GOD, BUT PRAISE MOVES GOD INTO ACTION! Prayer list at bottom of bible study once again. Revelation 10: 8-11 this ends chapter 10. 8 Then the voice that I had heard from heaven spoke to me once more: “Go, take the scroll that lies open in the hand of the angel who is standing on the sea and on the land.” John heard this order from heaven for him to go in take the little scroll that was in the hand of the Angel the reason that he had to take it is because he was going to be the one that was going to prophesy all of this to people. 9 So I went to the angel and asked him to give me the little scroll. He said to me, “Take it and eat it. It will turn your stomach sour, but ‘in your mouth it will be as sweet as honey.’” So in his vision he goes over to the Angel and asked to have the scroll given to him but the angel said that he should take it and that he should eat it. I don’t think this meant literally eating the scroll it meant that John had to study what was in the scroll so that he could prophesy and that when he began to read it, it was sweet to his taste but at the end he saw that it was bitter. In other words what was going to happen was not a good thing. 10 I took the little scroll from the angel’s hand and ate it. It tasted as sweet as honey in my mouth, but when I had eaten it, my stomach turned sour. John studied the contents of the scroll and it upset his stomach to think that he had to give this information to the people. I had a situation in my life like this once where I had information that I had to deliver and it made me sick at my stomach. When my nephew had killed himself I was the one who had to tell his mother, so I can really understand how John must have felt having to deliver the bad news that was in the scroll. 11 Then I was told, “You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, languages and kings.” John had read and studied the little scroll and knew that what was involved in the scroll was for at a future time when the end of the world would come as we know it. But in the meantime with all of John’s knowledge of what was to come he is told by the angel to prophesy to many people and nations and kings the good news about Jesus Christ, again God and his Son wants no one to perish said they tell John to go and preach and teach the people. This very message that John is to t him to go to sleep ell the people has been around for well over 2000 years. Amazing! So you see God is still trying to save as many as can be saved before the end of time. In preparation for the book of Genesis. The book of Genesis is a Narrative History, and Genealogies. It was written by Moses about 1450-1410 B.C. Key personalities include Adam, Eve, Noah, Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Rebekah, Jacob, and Joseph. This book was written to record God’s creation of the world and to demonstrate His love for all that He created. Genesis is the first book of the Law and also the first book of the entire Bible. The name Genesis literally means “In the Beginning”. It explains the actual events of one of the most debated subjects of our current day...the origin of life. Genesis describes the Lord God, who is infinite and all-powerful, creating everything that exists, by the power of His spoken Word, out of nothing. He essentially creates material matter out of nonmaterial nothing. Keep these things in your mind.J Prayers: We are asking of for prayer for a young lady names Maegen Johnson who is only 13 and being bullied every day at school. *Lord God. I praise you for intervening in my granddaughters’ life and changing her whole attitude about her life. I actually lifted up each and every one of my grandchildren, that they will have a desire to walk with God. *I need prayers for myself, but don’t want my name mention. Ask God to help me out with my money trouble, I feel as thou I have hit bottom. It started back few months ago, and still hasn’t fixed itself. I pray to Lord every morning and night for him to help me and answer my prayers and to watch over my daughter, new baby and myself. *Father I praise you that you are going to help my friend and her finances. We will give you all the praise and glory. Father for what you are going to do in Jesus name I pray. Amen *Father I want to praise you for staying with America for not turning your back on her and just like you did in David’s life with his enemies. I know you can do that for us with our government. We need to get rid of all of our government and have brand-new government. We shall praise you for that Father! *Father I want to thank you and praise you for working in Billie’s life, I praise you that she is going to begin to see her body as whole and complete that she is going to see herself well. I praise you that as each day goes by her pancreas is being healed. And Father I praise you that each time, she looks in a mirror she is going to see a change in her body any other part of her body that needs to be healed is being healed as we speak. A well completed body no longer sick in Jesus name I pray. *Father June and I just give you all the glory and praise for what you’re doing and Chases’ life. We ask that you continue to be with him God, and we will praise you every time we see a new change and we will continue to praise you, even though we don’t see a change. *Father I also praise you for what you’re doing in Doug’s life.
