Sunday March 9th - PM Karen is doing better each day! Its still a tough road but the breathing tube is still out and, but she is still fighting the pneumonia. The majority of her skin is about to begin the healing process and her vitals appear to still be good. She can also talk a little which is really nice but has been a little feisty at times, during the night, according to the nurses! 😄 Her cornea is holding up well but she still cant really open her eyes with all the stuff in her eyes along with the conjunctivitis still being present. Karen is really, REALLY tired because of the constant suctioning of secretions in her lungs and throat. She is constantly coughing up but its a good sign. Sooner than later, things should clear up and allow her lungs, throat, and mouth to heal! This will allow her to get even better sleep! Please continue to pray for our family as there are still plenty of potential obstacles in the way. With all your prayers, care, and concern, along with the progress Karen is making, I feel very strong she is going to win this battle! Much love, Mingo & Family
