Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and then Saturday! This has been a week. Weve suffered tragedy, storms and more that could make one weak. But when we look and count our days, blessings, gifts that should make us weep. Within our days and countless hours we have our chores. On Saturdays for years that day was set aside for cleaning days, list of chores to do that we put aside all week to do today. Unity, direction, come together, Jamie you clean the bathrooms, Amy you dust the rooms, Amber you vacuum, the rest Carol Ann and I would do the other: clean the refrigerators, mirrors, laundry, put up, clean up, take out sweep, mop, wax and more. We pulled together in unity because when our weeks chores were done than special Saturday time came in. The five of us set out to spend our time together. We did not piddle about we arose , finished our chores so that all of us could go outdoors. Picnics , biking, endless explorations of Gods wondrous outdoors. We didnt work the other days not to celebrate this day. Values, integrity, unity and more got us through the weakest times to our weekend. Enjoy your day, as this week comes to a close. Savor this day, reflect upon your past days but for a moment, do not harbor regrets or what ifs we cannot change what has been, but take up your day to end your week,not feeling weak , but cherish this gift we call the weekend. Enjoy your family, friends, smile upon Gods gifts today. Find a church if youre not in one and start your next week, not weak but refreshed and go to our Fathers house tomorrow and start this next week humble and meek with Thanksgiving for what your gift of time is to be received. I will spend my weekend here and into next week at the hospital because physically I am weak, but strength is within and pouring throughout.
