Sunday Morning Message: Faith and Favor. We look at the life of Joseph and how Favor played a big part in his life. Because of Josephs faith, every situation he faced in his life, allowed Gods favor to open doors. In Genesis chapters 37-41, we see Joseph being rejected by his brothers because God gave him a peek at his future! One day they would bow down to him. You cant share everything with everybody. Some things are just between you and God. God has a plan for all of our lives. That doesnt mean everyone will be happy for us! Joseph ended up in a pit being sold into slavery. He ended up in Potiphars house and everything he touched, was blessed! Potiphars wife tried to entice Joseph and told a lie on him because she couldnt get her way. Joseph ended up in jail and again everything he touch was blessed, and they turned the prison over to him! God can bless you any time and anywhere. He just wants to use us...later in time Pharaoh had a dream no one could figure out, but Joseph. Because God gave him the interpretation, it opened up favor for Joseph. When God give you favor, there nothing no one can do about it! Joseph was elevated to the position of Governor of Egypt, second in command to Pharaoh. Check this out. Pharaoh bling blinged him! Look at Genesis 41:42. Gave him his ring, gave him new clothes, and a big gold chain around his neck! There is stuff that comes with favor! Then gave him a beautiful wife. A package deal for his faith of his God! Joseph saved Egypt from a famine and destruction because of his walk with God. There is something big God wants you to do, you just have to walk and live the way God wants you to live. I believe God put us all here because there something he put us here to fore-fill. Only you can do it. God will take you from the pit to the palace!
