Sunday, November 3, 2013. COME! Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the LORD our maker. Psalm 95:6 (NLT) The Word of God today invites us to Come, to gather together to do something. The writer of Hebrews reminds Christians not to neglect meeting together, it is an important part of our life in Christ. Going to church is the most obvious way we do that but there are other ways! Come! The Word of God today also gives us direction as to what we should do when we come. First we should worship. The word in English is a short form of worth-ship, that is giving God what He is worthy to receive. The preceding verses in Psalm 95 tell us that Our Lord and God is a great God and deserves our worship, lets give it to Him! Come! Finally, the Word of God today invites us to bow down, to kneel down, to humble our selves before our God. In a word, we are asked to submit to Him. Do you really trust God? Then come, bow down before Him and focus on Him for a while. Surrender everything in you and around you to His loving care and give Him thanks for His amazing love for you. Come! Come Holy Spirit, bring us before the Presence of our God, in Jesus Name, amen.
