Ben Roberts Joseph Is Framed/Placed in Prison Genesis 39:19-23 The following outline illustrates the endless cycle of failures in the Perfect-Victims life. - OUR EXPECTATIONS (Desired Life Roles) - DEVIATIONS OR DIFFICULTIES (Reality) - VICTIMHOOD - SHORT-TERM NEEDS MET (Through victim reinforcing behaviors or extreme perfectionistic behaviors) - PERFECT STATUS REINFORCED - NEW EXPECTATIONS and LIFE ROLES (The Cycle Continues) Example: I am the boss! Roger almost shouted to his employee, Dale. With this declaration, Dale was ordered to keep working on the specific task he had been assigned. Dale was indignant and simply refused to comply, stating defiantly that he thought better things could come from a new focus; his focus. Dale walked out on his employer. He then spent all of his time and energy being angry with his former boss and complaining about his financial devastation. His unemployment compensation claim was denied because he had quit his job. He then protested by spending the next week researching how to go about filing official appeal claim forms and trying to find an attorney to accept his case on a contingency fee.
