Sunday, October 5, 2014 Rev. Daylan K. Greer Sr. - Bethel AME Church Bloomfield Scripture: Philippans 1: 1-6 Subject: Get Back in the Game There are times when all Gods people get discouraged. Sometimes we get a little wary. Press on any how. Let them see the anointing on you. Tell them about your struggles. Testify all that God has done for you. You have to tell somebody to press on. You need to get to a place where you have a I Dont Care moment! I dont have time to worry about stuff like that. God has a better job for me. You cant steal my blessings or steal my anointings. You better get back into the game. You cant get caught up in negative stuff. You have to keep working until completion. 1) Perils - A pending event that will happen. (People saying things like Youll never make it) God cant work in us if we dont trust him. You have to keep trying. You dont know if you wont try. 2) Paradox - a statement that us contrary (when folks lie on you) Recognize the statement that God says You are a Blessed and Highly Favored The word of God says you shall be blessed. 3) Predicament - Activity that has negative consequences (actions that people put on you) There is always somebody trying to block you and pull you out if the game. Let God perform. The devil wants you out of the game. Perform Gods work. Dont let the devil steal your joy, your happiness, your trust, your family. Charge it to the game. With the help of somebody else you can get back in the game. You want to be able to say Touchdown The score says well done. The answer is the The Promise. The Promise of God is delayed but not denied.
